The Breville VKJ386 polished stainless steel jug kettle combines modern design with high performance. It is high wattage--3 kilowatt (kW)--keeping the boiling time short to save you time and has a concealed element. This makes it easier to clean and more energy efficient than an immersed element, requiring a lower minimum water level in order to function safely. It has a capacity of 1.5 litres (l) and so can accommodate about five to seven cups--ideal for families. The VKJ386 is designed with dual water windows indicating water level to help you fill the kettle to the desired amount. And these windows illuminate blue when boiling, making it easier to judge the correct amount and giving your kettle a sophisticated style. The kettle is fitted with a non-slip, 360° rotational base for left and right-handed usage and cord storage to keep your kitchen worktop fuss-free.

I like this kettle but would agree with other reveiwers that it is indeed very noisy. Saying that, it is simple to use and boils the water very swiftly. The blue lights are good to look at. I have no difficulty working out how considerably water required for one, two or 3 cups of tea. I thought this item good value and have only marked it down one particular star due to the noise whilst boiling.
Received ahead of estimated time and also nicely packed and highly great superior. Slightly noisy when boiling up but can stand that.
The light gives it that quality appear and have had a handful of many people admiring it.
