The Breville VKJ416 black stainless steel jug kettle combines modern design with high performance. It is high wattage--3 kilowatt (kW)--keeping the boiling time short to save you time and has a concealed element. This makes it easier to clean and more energy efficient than an immersed element, requiring a lower minimum water level in order to function safely. It has a capacity of 1.7 litres (l) and so can accommodate about six to eight cups--ideal for families. The VKJ416 is designed with large dual water windows indicating water level to help you fill the kettle to the desired amount. And these windows illuminate blue when boiling, making it easier to judge the correct amount and giving your kettle a sophisticated style. The kettle is fitted with a non-slip, 360° rotational base for left and right-handed usage and cord storage to keep your kitchen worktop fuss-free.

Smart, fantastic seeking. Solid really feel to it, a lot greater feel than cheaper plastic ones. Great very easy to open lid. Does what a kettle will need to do. Blue light is a tiny OTT but it does at least let you know that it has completed if you have been out of the space whilst it is boiling/
The black stainless steel finish and blue light makes the kettle extremely fashionable. Lid enables very easy fill, sizeable window and simple pour spout. Have had a variety of Breville kettles over the years often discovered them reliable and well produced this a single is no exception.
