The Hinari HGP159 cream stainless steel kettle and toaster pack makes a smart, matching set for any kitchen. The kettle is high wattage--3 kilowatt (kW)--keeping the boiling time short to save you time and has a concealed element. This makes it easier to clean and more energy efficient than an immersed element, requiring a lower minimum water level in order to function safely. It has a capacity of 1.7 litres (l) and so can accommodate about six to eight cups--ideal for families. The kettle is designed with a rear water window indicating water level to help you fill the kettle to the desired amount and a removable and washable limescale filter. It is also fitted with a 360° rotational base for left and right-handed usage, non-slip feet and cord storage to keep your kitchen worktop fuss-free.
The 1 kW two slot two slice toaster has a variable browning control allowing you to choose how dark or light you like your toast and variable width slots allowing breads of various thicknesses to be fully toasted up to a maximum of 3.6 centimetres (cm). So whether it's a small slice or something a bit bulkier--many sizes are properly accommodated. Features include a defrost button which automatically lengthens the toasting time to allow for the defrosting of frozen bread and a mid-cycle cancel button allowing you to stop the toasting process as and when you want to. Remove smaller items without burning your fingers thanks to the extra-high lift which raises the bread carriage for easier access. And keep crumb mess to a minimum with the removable crumb tray which collects any crumbs that may fall from the bread as you toast it.
