This kettle functions swiftly if somewhat noisily. It is simple and easy to fill and use. The image, but, is a small misleading - we practically did not acquire it as it looks as if it has a black stripe and we wanted a pure metal kettle. The black stripe is in truth a reflection in the metal of the body of the kettle so we were well chuffed when we opend the box!
Russell Hobbs Kettle-stainless steel. I am certainly delighted with this kettle. It is wise and elegant, boils quite rapidly and straightforward to clean. One tiny annoying factor [which is not too valuable] it is very tricky to see the water level as a single fills the kettle from the tap.....I have learned to 'hear' when the kettle sounds complete! However, in spite.....I advocate this item with no hesitation. Thankyou.
