The style of this kettle allows you simple and easy control over the quantity of water boiled, even though the cup size is smaller than a common mug you soon discover how much extra to add. The water boils very speedily with the 'on' indicator (blue light) clearly visible from a distance. The base is space saving and it the kettle can be rotated on the base to choose up for safer pouring. The kettle seems nicely constructed and I expect it to live up to the demands of household life.
I just got this kettle highly recently. Took me ages to choose which one particular to get as I read the testimonials and a large number of seem to leak etc. Decided to go with this a single as most people's dilemma with it was that they cannot see the water measuring window (did not seem like that large a deal). Just wanted to leave this feedback as I have no issue with seeing the water level at all.
